ADVERTISING RATES

Contract advertisers commit to running ads in six consecutive issues in exchange for the lowest rates available. Rates are guaranteed throughout the contract term. Ad sizes can be changed from 1/8th page to full page throughout the contract cycle. Key postion pages remain the same size throughout the contract year and cannot be changed. Advertisers may make copy changes from one issue to the next if revisions are received before the designated advertising deadline.

NEW ACCOUNTS: Payments are due by each deadline with advertising materials and instructions. There are no exceptions.
Other terms will be discussed after one contract season.

 MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS

PRINTER: The Big Show Journal is printed on a Heidelberg Offset sheet-fed press, using standard CMYK inks on gloss coated paper. Outside covers are UV coated.
SCREEN: 175-Line Screen
NEGATIVES: Right-Reading, Emulsion Down
DISCS: Macintosh compatible ~ QuarkXpress 5.0
ARTWORK: 300 DPI "Tiff" format or "EPS" format. You MUST include all fonts with your EPS and QuarkXpress files. QuarkXpress is best saved as "Collect for output" which will automatically collect photos and fonts. *** Note of importance: Macintosh computers do not recognize PC fonts in many instances. Fonts will be substituted upon the descretion of the production department.
TEXT: Macintosh compatible ~ ".txt" extensions
LAYOUT DESIGNS: Macintosh is preferred
CAMERA READY: We accept camera-ready artwork, which should be seperated for color breaks.
PC COMPUTERS: If you would like to submit copy in Microsoft Word, please email. Copy will be placed in the Macintosh QuarkXpress program for resizing and design. Call the Big Show Journal with questions.
